German police arrested three Chinese who shared his hotel room in Cologne with
100 snakes, turtles about 70 frogs and 20 DPA. The hotel staff alerted police that
the three guests from China behave suspiciously. The police checked their
luggage and found the reptiles inside.
Police spokesperson said that the animals have not been identified as a species, so far it is unclear whether rare, poisonous, or both. Cologne Zoo has already showed interest in them.
Police suspect that the three Chinese traffickers animals and reptiles, may have been illegally transported from Asia. Offenders are released on bail of more than € 1,000.
